This position was previously called Director of Special Services. The position is available for the 2019-20 school year starting on July 1, 2019. The person in this position is responsible for the oversight of Special Services staffing and programming.
Qualifications: A master's degree in Special Education or Administration with three years of teaching experience and possession of a current Arizona certificate. At least two years of experience in administration at a district level preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities has been achieved.
Must have knowledge of applicable federal, state, county and city statutes, rules, policies and procedures and a thorough understanding of special education law.
Salary per the Administrative Hiring Guidelines/Certified Director. Experience will be considered.
Postition is responsible to the Superintendent.
