This posting is for substitute athletic trainers for Estrella Foothills High School and possibly other high schools in the Buckeye Union High School District as needed.

The athletic trainer will diagnose and treat injuries of high school students. They are expected to use their knowledge and skills associated with preventing injury through the use of devices such as tape and braces and to use their ability to recognize and evaluate injuries, and provide emergency care. They should be able to formulate a plan to rehabilitate hurt athletes and prevent athletic injuries. The qualified candidate will also have the following credentials:

NATABOC or ATC Certified

Arizona Licensure or Eligibility

Experience Working with a Variety of Sports

CPR/First Aid Instructor

Current Liability Insurance

Compensation will be consistent with AIA playoff rates.
